Video has emerged showing the rescue of a stricken sheep that had falling into the UK's famed River Wye.<br /><br />The footage, captured on August 27 on the River Wye, shows one of the men freeing the sheep that had become entangled in weeds by the river bank.<br /><br />He then pulls the sheep into his canoe before taking it to the bank of the river lifting it onto dry land.<br /><br />''Whilst canoeing along the River Wye, one of my fellow paddlers noticed a sheep that had fallen into the river,'' the filmer later wrote online.<br /><br />''I set about to rescue the stricken animal and I was successful,'' he added.
