Dramatic footage has emerged of a plane flying into the eye of Hurricane Irma in an attempt to predict her path. <br /><br />The video, filmed from inside a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration plane, shows strong winds hitting the aircraft as it flies into the eye of the hurricane.<br /><br />It was filmed by aerospace engineer Nick Underwood aboard the NOAA's WP-3D Orion, nicknamed Kermit, somewhere over the Atlantic near the Leeward Islands in the West Indies on September 5.
