Long queues formed in Florida as shoppers bought essential items ahead of the arrival of Hurricane Irma.<br /><br />The lines in St. Cloud stretched out of the shopping centre as people queued for food and water. <br /><br />A state of emergency has been declared in all counties within Florida as the Category 5 storm, currently slamming islands in the Caribbean, bears down on the Sunshine State.
