<br /> <p>Webcams captured some of Mexico City’s most well-known landmarks losing power on September 7, as an 8.2-magnitude earthquake</a> rattled the city.</p><p>This video shows the Monument to the Revolution, Constitution Square (informally known as El Zócalo), and Central Alameda Park in Mexico City losing power as the earthquake struck.</p><p>At least 37 people were killed by the earthquake in southern Mexico, according to Mexican news reports</a> citing officials. Properties were damaged, and in some cases entirely destroyed.</p><p>The epicenter of the quake</a> was located off Mexico’s southwest coast, about 470 miles from Mexico City, in the state of Chiapas.
