Footage has emerged of a boy getting his hand stuck in an escalator at a shopping mall in northern China.<br /><br />Mobile phone video of a screen showing CCTV of the incident, captured in Jilin City in Jilin Province on September 9, shows a boy releasing his hand from his mother's grip and then sitting on the escalator. <br /><br />He then suddenly gets his hand trapped into the side of the escalator.<br /><br />Another woman quickly gets off the escalator, pushing a button and bringing it to a halt.<br /><br />Mobile phone video also showed a close-up of the boy's hand stuck in the side of the elevator and scenes from inside hospital, where the boy received treatment.<br /><br />The injuries were not serious, according to local media.
