Hurricane Irma has been a destructive force in Florida. One thing it's destroyed, at least temporarily, is the Tampa waterfront.<br /><br />As Hurricane Irma approached Tampa, water was pulled out of the harbor in what's called a "reverse storm surge." Strong winds pushed the water out of the bay, drying it up. But meteorologists warn that water will come rushing back after Irma passes through.<br /><br />That hasn't stopped people from heading to the beach to explore the once water-covered landscape. And with all of the city's parks closed during the storm, the empty bay is also being used as a temporary dog park.
