This allows me to wireless mirror my image of Android phone to fory 7 monitor in dash of my car.\r<br>\r<br>Google just recently turned on Mirroring Android to Chromecast \r<br>So it was time to play around.\r<br>\r<br>In order to get this to work, you will Need:\r<br>-Chromecast\r<br>-2 Android Devices. (one that can Wifi Tether Hotspot i.e phone and ones to Setup the Chromecast) \r<br>*No need for seperate Router in car to get this working!\r<br>-HDMI to AV Converter \r<br>-Some way to connect to fory car Monitor, (AV cables or Interface)\r<br>\r<br>What I did was Set up a Tasker App on Android to Automatically Launch Wifi Tether and Auto Rotate Screen when connected to the Bluetooth in this car specifically.\r<br>This will allow the Chromecast to connect to the internet and then will allow for Casting from the phone that is tethering to it!\r<br>\r<br>\r<br>Problems I see currently:\r<br>Screen must be on for there to be a Cast image to the Cars Screen. Solution hopefully is to find a tasker that dims the screen down low enough to not bother me and save battery at the same time but still visible enough to navigate through the screens.\r<br>\r<br>Also the quality of picture could be better, Maybe getting a higher quality HDMI to AV converter will help?
