Using iTunes, you can convert any song into a ringtone with just 3 easy steps. Watch this step-by-step tutorial to create your own ringtones.\r<br>\r<br>Additional link : \r<br>Create Ringtones using GarageBand App - (Easy method!) : \r<br>\r<br>\r<br>Steps to make a Ringtone:\r<br>1. Launch iTunes on your Windows PC or Mac.\r<br>2. Make sure that MUSIC option is selected in the top left corner.\r<br>3. Pick the song you want to use from your iTunes library.\r<br>4. Right click on the song and tap GET INFO.\r<br>5. Select OPTIONS.\r<br>6. Change the STOP and START TIME \r<br>(Select your favourite 30 seconds of the song to set it as a Ringtone) Make sure that ringtone total length doesnt exceed 30 seconds.\r<br>7.MARK CHECKBOXES next to the Start and Stop times.\r<br>8. Tap OK.\r<br>9. Click on the song, and go to FILE -- CONVERT, and select CREATE AAC VERSION. \r<br>(iTunes will create a new song with a new time length next to the original song)\r<br>10. Right click on the new song, select SHOW IN WINDOWS EXPLORER \r<br>(select SHOW IN FINDER for Mac). \r<br>11.The new song will show up in your explorer window with .m4a file.\r<br>12: Rename the extension of the file from .m4a to .m4r\r<br>(Do not rename the file name)\r<br>13. Select YES when warning is prompted.\r<br>14. Go back to iTunes. Select TONES in upper left corner. And drag this new file with extension .m4r into iTunes.\r<br>(Only double click the file in case you are using the Mac. It will automatically open in iTunes)\r<br>15. Connect and sync your iPhone to iTunes.\r<br>16. .When it is done syncing, the new ringtones can be found on your iPhone at SETTINGS -- SOUNDS -- RINGTONE.\r<br>\r<br>Thats it.
