Time-lapse footage has now emerged from US-based filmmaker Michael Shainblum documenting his trips across Yosemite and other North American mountain chains.<br /><br />The video, shot over several years, shows the weather formations over the mountain chains of California, Oregon and Alberta.<br /><br />"I wanted to show the beauty of these incredible formations under different atmospheric conditions and let these mountains speak for themselves with simple static timelapses," the filmer wrote online.<br /><br />The locations featured are Alabama Hills, California; Yosemite National Park, California; Banff National Park, Alberta; Three Sisters Wilderness, Central Oregon; and Lost Lake, Oregon.
