Divorce must be tough, but Fergie knows that pretending you’re still together with Josh Duhamel to trick the public definitely doesn’t make the situation any easier. <br />The singer tells People, “Honestly, it was just getting a little weird for us with all the romantic questions.” <br />Despite Fergie and Duhamel just recently announcing their split, it’s rumored that the relationship ended much earlier in 2017. <br />Fergie tells People, “We’re great friends, we love each other so much, and it just got to the point where it was getting a little weird… There’s no perfect time so we just decided to do it.” <br />Now, Fergie gets to focus completely on promoting her new upcoming album and new music, and also co-parenting their 4-year-old son, Axl. No need to dodge any more awkward questions about a marriage that is no longer in play. <br />
