Thousands left without homes after severe Niger flooding

Tens of thousands of people have been left homeless in Niger after months of severe flooding.<br />Residents in the capital, Niamey, have criticised the authorities, saying that rebuilding efforts in flood-stricken areas have been slow.<br />
