8 year old figure skater Shyly Cherub placed 2nd at Club Figure Skating Championships - a tiny 0.12 points behind 1st and a healthy 2.17 ahead of 3rd. She also collected a surprise extra award and possibly her favourite figure skating prize so far.\r<br>\r<br>Yes she was the youngest but Im all in favour of combing age groups. Being older can be an advantage, but not nearly as much as training a zillion hours.
