In this tutorial I demonstrate how to create multi coloured petals out of modeling chocolate and how to make a rose cake pop. Easier than it looks! :)\r
\r
For more dessert inspiration and tutorial sneak peeks, visit:\r
\r
\r
\r
\r
\r
\r
MODELING CHOCOLATE RECIPE\r
90 grams white compound chocolate (i.e chocolate buttons, Nestle melts etc).\r
30 grams light corn syrup (I use Karo)\r
\r
CAKE POP MIX:\r
100 grams vanilla cake of your liking \r
2-3 teaspoons of chocolate ganache \r
THIS RECIPE MAKES 4 ROSE CAKE POPS \r
\r
If you are doubling the recipe, remember to be conservative with your chocolate ganache and add a little at a time. You can always add more, but you cant take away once its been added. Its safe to have some spare cake crumbs at the ready in case though. \r
\r
COLOURS USED:\r
All Americolour soft gel food colours:\r
Egg Yellow\r
Super Red\r
Electric Purple\r
Sky Blue (mixed in with what I had left of egg yellow modeling chocolate to make green)\r
\r
And thats how its done :) Hope you guys learned a little something new! In hind sight, I would have probably stuck to one colour and just used different tones of that colour for the petals. But each to their own!\r
\r
Thanks for watching and I shall see you all again on Saturday!\r
\r
for business inquiries, please cont: rosiesdessertspot@gmail.com
