An Italian Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft crashed into the sea off Terracina, Italy, on Sunday (September 24) killing the plane’s pilot, reports said.<br /><br />The accident, which took place at an airshow over a Terracina beach on Itlay’s west coast, occurred as the aircraft’s pilot attempted to pull out of a high-altitude loop.<br /><br />Also scheduled to appear at the show was a display from the famed Italian Air Force Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team, according to reports.<br /><br />It was intended to demonstrate Italian military forces, according to reports.<br /><br />Spectators shared footage of the crash on Instagram.<br />
