Clashes between anti-immigration protesters and their opponents have broken out in a handful of European cities. In Germany, thousands of PEGIDA activists turned out in both Berlin and Leipzig, and were met by counter demonstrations. The group also held its first ever protest in Sweden, which was greatly outnumbered by a 3,000-strong counter protest.
