Brie Larson now has an Academy Award on her shelf somewhere, but she admits it wasn’t easy to foresee such success in her acting career. <br />She tells PORTER magazine, “I just didn’t feel confident in myself, I didn’t feel pretty enough. I thought I’d be a supporting character my whole life and I was struggling with the idea of being the star.” <br />Now, the 27-year-old actress is a household name and will grace the big screen as Captain Marvel in an upcoming superhero movie. Thankfully, that’s given her some of the confidence she once lacked. <br />She tells PORTER, “I’ve been on sets where I didn’t feel safe, I’ve felt objectified. But as I’m getting older I’m realizing that I can value myself, I’m allowed to.” <br />Now Brie can be confident that her career will only get better as time goes on. <br />
