Columns of farmers drive tractors through the streets of Barcelona to show their support for the Catalonian independence referendum that is scheduled to take place on Sunday. <br /><br />In video captured on Friday afternoon (Septermber 29), dozens of tractors, decorated with independence flags, block roads as they roll through the Catalonian city.<br /><br />The march was part of a rally organised by the union of agriculturists, Unio de Pagesos, to protest the judicial measures taken by the central Spanish government aimed at preventing people from voting in the referendum.<br /><br />According to reports, the farmers intend to park their vehicles in front of polling stations in an attempt to keep them open before police are ordered to shut them down.
