Mongolian Beef (Asian Cooking) Best Mongolian Beef Recipe\r<br>\r<br>Welcome to Xiaos Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei, ever since my Mother taught me how to cook at a early age, I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and pick-up new Asian/Chinese recipes.\r<br>\r<br>Ingredients:\r<br>200 – 250g Sirloin Steak\r<br>5g Ginger\r<br>3 Cloves Garlic\r<br>2 Spring Onions\r<br>1 Red Chilli Pepper\r<br>1 Tbsp Soy Sauce\r<br>1 Tbsp Sugar\r<br>1 Tsp Coarse Black Pepper\r<br>3 -4 Tbsp Cornflour\r<br>Salt to Taste\r<br>\r<br>Method:\r<br> 1. Finely chop the garlic, ginger and spring onions.\r<br> 2. Thinly slice the chilli pepper.\r<br> 3. Cut the steak into thin strips.\r<br> 4. Place the steak into a mixing bowl and add the cornflour.\r<br> 5. Toss the meat and ensure an even coverage.\r<br> 6. Heat half litre of oil in the wok until smoking hot.\r<br> 7. Place the meat into the hot oil, stir and deep fry for a minute. Remove the meat and discard the oil.\r<br> 8. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in the same wok and add the garlic, ginger and black pepper, and fry for few seconds.\r<br> 9. Add the beef, spring onion, chilli pepper and stir.\r<br>10. Add the soy sauce, sugar, salt and stir.\r<br>11. Add about 100ml of water or stock.\r<br>12.
