This hotel started off as a roadside motel, and later grew into the largest non-gaming hotel on the strip until 1979 when they applied for their gaming license as the Alladin Hotel & Casino! <br /><br />In 1997, they chose to close the hotel to liquidate all of the hotels furnishings & scheduled an implosion in 1998 before re-opening in 2000.
