Footage of five runaway ostriches scampering down a motorway in China.<br /><br />The video, captured in Foshan in China's southeastern Guangdong Province on October 3, shows five ostriches running alongside cars on the motorway, to the bemusement of motorists.<br /><br />One driver can be heard urging on the birds, saying: "Run fast! Come on!"<br /><br />According to local news, the ostriches escaped their enclosure after their owner named Liang forgot to lock it.<br /><br />Unfortunately, according to local media, four out of the five ostriches died after running nearly 50km in hot weather without drinking water.
