Video from China of an Alaskan Malamute howling to apparently comfort a crying girl who is being scolded by her mother.<br /><br />In the video, filmed in Jinan city in eastern Shandong Province on September 13, the dog - whose name translates as Meatball - howls when the toddler cries as her mother tells her off. <br /><br />"Meatball is trying to comfort you," she says to her daughter.
