Video footage of a SAPS officer has gone viral, depicting an officer handling personal business on the phone instead of assisting people in the Buccleuch satellite station. <br /> <br />The footage depicts the officer on the phone with Multichoice attempting to fix a problem with her account. <br /> <br />The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the Police in Gauteng, Major General Napo noted the video clip that has gone viral in a statement. <br /> <br />"Such conduct by any member of the SAPS is unbecoming and can never be condoned, as ours is first and foremost, to serve and to protect, said Major General Napo. <br /> <br />The Acting Provincial Commissioner has, therefore, sanctioned an internal investigation into the conduct of the member, with immediate effect. <br /> <br />In a tweet the Minister of Police, Fikile Mbalula, said action will be taken against the police officer involved.
