Footage has emerged of bus passengers escaping through windows after the vehicle got stuck on a flooded road in Nicaragua during Storm Nate.<br /><br />The video, captured on October 5 in the capital Managua, shows the vehicle being caught up in currents as local residents help the passengers to get out through the windows. <br /><br />''The driver tried to drive through the current without thinking about the possible consequences,'' the filmer later wrote online.<br /><br />''Luckily there were two tractors that tied ropes to the bus to prevent it from overturning.''<br /><br />''In the end the bus was towed and fortunately there were no injuries,'' he continued. <br /><br />According to reports, Storm Nate killed at least 13 people in Nicaragua and thousands more were forced to leave their homes.
