The US Air Force (USAF) test-launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) from the US Air Force North Vandenberg base, just days after North Korea reportedly fired an ICBM into the Sea of Japan.<br />North Korea tested a long-range projectile last Friday, which the US and South Korean militaries have since assessed to be an ICBM. The missile was launched from an area in Mupyong-ni.
