I had a squier bullet strat with a few mods on it, gibson pickup and cream knobs.\r
But i felt like doing some real mods this time.\r
Wilkinson vintage pickups\r
Cotton pull back wire\r
Full sized 250K potentiometers\r
.022uF Metal film capacitors\r
Shielded 5-way swich\r
Cream 3-Ply pickguard\r
Aged body, neck and hardware\r
Refinished Neck\r
Custom Decals\r
Low friction roller string trees and saddles\r
\r
Update:\r
I raised my pickups when i upgraded it (to get a higher output and more bite)\r
but that was a huge mistake.\r
The magnets pullet the stings down to the frets, and forced me to have a high ion (about 3mm at 12th fret)\r
\r
I have now lowered the pickups and adjusted the saddles.\r
And the ion went down to 1mm at the 12th fret! \r
\r
I also replaced the tone controls with a tweed overdrive and a piezo pickup.\r
The strat is now better than any 1000$ guitar i ever have tried.
