The DaHui Backdoor Shootout is a one-of-a-kind surf contest hosted on the North Shore of Oahu. No jerseys allowed, invitation only, and $40 grand on the line. The best of the best of Hawaiian surfing gathered on the iconic 7 Mile Miracle to take on one of the cleanest Pipe swells of the season. Local charger Koa Rothman claimed the trophy, dedicated his win to injured competitor Kalani Chapman who nearly drowned after a heavy wipeout on the shallow reef.
