<p>Rock singer Melissa Etheridge’s </a>tour bus had some unfortunate visitors recently when she was crossing into the United States from Canada in North Dakota.</p><br /><p>The 56 year old was arrested after customs and border patrol discovered she was in possession of marijuana!</p><br /><p>The incident took place back in August, when her tour bus was stopped.</p><br /><p>After drug-sniffing dogs detected possible drugs, the agents allegedly found marijuana oil.</p><br /><p>Melissa, who is a passionate advocate for medical marijuana, told police she uses the drugs to manage pain from cancer.</p><br /><p>This became problematic as the drug is legal in California but not in North Dakota where they crossed the border.</p><br /><p>Melissa was booked for possession of a controlled substance.
