Footage has emerged of a plume of smoke rising from the Spanish jet F-18 which crashed just after take-off from Torrejon de Ardoz military base, a few kilometers away from Madrid.<br /><br />The pilot died in the crash according to local reports.<br /><br />The filmer was landing in Madrid when he saw a big explosion by the window. He just caught it with his phone without knowing what it was exactly. He only found out that it was the jet F-18 crash on his way back home.<br /><br />It's the second plane crash in less than a week in Spain. A Eurofighter crashed while landing in a military base 300km away from Madrid on the 12th of October.
