<p>A medical oncologist</a> in Hervey Bay, Queensland, designed a makeshift anti-magpie helmet to prevent swoop attacks from the troublesome birds while he cycled.</p><p>Doctor Richard Osborne created the anti-magpie helmet using party poppers and a garden hose.
