A series of rallies demanding equal rights for women have been held in cities across Sweden. <br /><br />In the capital Stockholm, thousands took part in the #metoo protest which was supported by two women currently serving in the Nordic nation’s government. <br /><br />Addressing the crowd, Åsa Regnér, Sweden’s health minister said:“Support equal rights, when you are a boss, in a position of power at work. And it is more probable that you are in a position of power, when you are a man. Use your power. Only then, can we change something.”<br /><br />Also speaking at the event Ylva Johansson, the country’s Labour Minister, said: “Generally, a woman’s experience is not taken seriously, it’s not so important. But such #metoo-<br />protests show that the problem is huge. Sexual harassment happens to all women, so often, everywhere. We have had enough now!”<br /><br />Along with Stockholm, the cities of Malmo and Gothenburg also saw protests.<br />
