Based on a short story of the same name by Richard Matheson, Bob Wilson, a salesman who suffered a nervous breakdown six months earlier spots a monster on the wing of the plane messing with the engines in an attempt to crash the plane. In vain, Bob tries to warn plane personnel, other passengers aboard and his own wife but every time someone else looks through the thick glass windows the creature has hidden. Despite fears that his wife will have him committed again, Bob steals a gun from a sleeping policeman and opens the door marked Auxiliary Exit. Despite being almost blowing out of the plane himself Bob manages to shoot The Gremlin who falls to his death. The final shots of theshow Bob being whisked away in a straightjacket and sparks from unusual damage left on the planes left wing engine, which has yet to be discovered. Twisty was dropped on his head as a baby, leaving him not all there, but found work as a circus clown in a travelling circus. Unfortunately, jealous of his popularity, some of the other carnival freaks, led by an especially nasty pair of dwarfs, spread a vicious lie that he was a child molester. No longer able to find work as a clown Twisty attempted to end it all with a shotgun blast to the face. But he didnt die, he was merely horribly disfigured, so he began wearing a wide-grinned prosthetic mask he found in a dumpster. From then on Twisty hated carnival freaks, and felt a desperate need to win back the love of children, concocting an insane plan to protect children by keeping them safe, he would steal children, often killing their parents in the process, and lock them up in his strange isolated bus out in the woods. Largely based on real life killer John Wayne Gacy the twisted clown will be causing nightmares in reruns for years to come. \r<br>\r<br>2 - Bob\r<br>In 1990 we were given David Lynchs Twin Peaks, and the monster, known only as Bob was born. Bob is a spirit in Twin Peaks who feeds on human pain and suffering. Bob can appear in many manifestations through the hosts he possesses. He possesses human hosts in order to rape and murder in order to feast upon the fear and suffering of his victims. Bob is a demonic entity born from the Black Lodge, a realm of pure evil which exists in an alternative plane of reality. In the second season Bob again takes on the role of antagonist, this time in full flesh as having taken possession of Leland Palmer, upon Lelands death Bob takes on the form of a white owl and flies away, he only resurfaces in the finalwhen Agent Cooper ventures into the Black Lodge and becomes possessed by Bob. Theends with Bob in our world looking into a mirror with the face of Agent Cooper and laughing hysterically. With so many questions left unanswered, Bob will remain a spectre for many years.\r<br> \r<br>1 - The Gentlemen \r<br>In 1999, Hush premiered as the 10thof the 4th season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and starred The Gentlemen. The Gentlemen were demons who came from a strange book on folklore who needed seven human hearts in order to live in our dimension. They were a group of four very pale, bald humanoids who never spoke but always grinned maliciously through metallic teeth. They hovered about a foot above the ground, remaining perfectly straight, wore black suits and carried satchels with scalpels, used for cutting out the hearts they sought. The Gentlemen had only one weakness, the sound of a human scream, as a way to avoid this they stole the voices of every inhabitant in town through a magical box. The gentlemen were served by a group of demonic footmen dressed in straight jackets. They were able to collect five hearts before being stopped by Buffy. The hearts were cut from still living bodies giving thisa ghoulish glare which has led to lots of creepy fanart and was highly praised by critics, even receiving an Emmy for outstanding writing in a drama .
