Green Tikka Masala Recipe in English: <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />-Chicken Tikka 4 pieces <br />-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) grinded 1 bunch <br />-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 4 tbs <br />-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs <br />-Kacha papita (Raw papaya) paste 1 & ½ tsp <br />-Hari mirch (Green chili) crushed 2 tbs <br />-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tsp <br />-Garam masala powder ½ tsp <br />-Namak (Salt) 2 tsp or to taste <br />-Lemon juice 2-3 tbs <br />-Oil 3 tbs <br />-Pani (Water) as required <br />Green Masala Sauce: <br />-Oil 4 tbs <br />-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) grinded 1 bunch <br />-Hari mirch (Green chilies) crushed 5-6 <br />-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 5-6 tbs <br />-Garam masala powder ½ tsp <br />-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste <br />-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp <br />-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp <br />-Jaifil powder (Nutmeg powder) ¼ tsp <br />-Koyla (Charcoal) for smoke <br /> <br />Directions: <br />-Add marks/cuts on chicken tikka pieces. <br />-In bowl,add coriander,yogurt,ginger garlic paste,raw papaya paste,green chili,cumin powder,garam masala powder,salt,lemon juice and mix well. <br />-Add chicken tikka pieces and coat well. <br />-Cover and let it marinate for 4-6 hours or overnight in refrigerator. <br />Option no.1: Grill <br />-Grease grill pan with oil,place marinated chicken tikka pieces and grill for 4-5 minutes each side. <br />-Sprinkle water,cover and cook on low flame until done. <br />Option no.2: Steam <br />-Put chicken tikka pieces into aluminum foil,basting with marinade and wrap it. <br />-Add water in a pot,place steam rack and bring it to boil. <br />-Place wrap piece in steamer rack over water. <br />-Cover and let it steam cook for 20-25 minutes or until done. <br />Option no.3: Bake <br />-Place chicken tikka piece in greased baking tray and brush chicken tikka piece with oil. <br />-Bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 35-40 minutes. <br />Green Masala Sauce: <br />-In wok,add oil,fresh coriander,green chilies and mix well. <br />-Add yogurt,garam masala powder,salt,cumin powder,black pepper powder,nutmeg powder and mix well. <br />-Cook for 2 minutes or until oil separates and mix well continuously. <br />-Add all cooked chicken tikka pieces,mix & coat well with green masala sauce. <br />-Give it a charcoal smoke for 2-3 minutes and serve. <br /> <br />Recipe in Urdu: <br /> <br />Ajza: <br />-Chicken Tikka 4 pieces <br />-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) grinded 1 bunch <br />-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 4 tbs <br />-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs <br />-Kacha papita (Raw papaya) paste 1 & ½ tsp <br />-Hari mirch (Green chili) crushed 2 tbs <br />-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) 1 tsp <br />-Garam masala powder ½ tsp <br />-Namak (Salt) 2 tsp or to taste <br />-Lemon juice 2-3 tbs <br />-Oil 3 tbs <br />-Pani (Water) as required <br />Green Masala Sauce: <br />-Oil 4 tbs <br />-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) grinded 1 bunch <br />-Hari mirch (Green chilies) crushed 5-6 <br />-Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 5-6 tbs <br />-Garam masala powder ½ tsp <br />-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste <br />-Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ tsp <br />-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp <br />-Jaifil powder (Nutmeg powder) ¼ tsp <br />-Koyla (Charcoal) for smoke <br /> <br />Directions: <br />-Chicken tikka pieces per marks/cuts laga lein. <br />-Bowl mein hara dhania,dahi,adrak lehsan paste,kacha papita paste,hari mirch,zeera powder,garam masala powder,namak aur lemon juice dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. <br />-Chicken tikka pieces dal ker ache tarhan coat ker lein. <br />-Dhak dein aur refrigerator mein 4-6 hours ya overnight kliya marinate ker lein. <br />Option no.1: Grill <br />-Grill pan ko oil sa grease karein aur marinated chicken tikka pieces ko rakh ker her taraf sa 4-5 minutes kliya grill ker lein. <br />-Pani chirak dein aur dhak ker halki ancch per gul janay tak paka lein. <br />Option no.2: Steam <br />-Chicken tikka piece ko aluminum foil mein rakh dein aur marination laga ker wrap ker lein. <br />-Pot mein pani dal dein aur steam rack rakh dein aur ubal anay dein. <br />-Warp piece ko steam rack per rakh dein. <br />-Dhak ker 20-25 minutes ya gul janay tak steam mein paka lein. <br />Option no.3: Bake <br />-Chicken tikka piece ko greasde baking tray per rakh dein aur oil laga lein. <br />-Preheated oven mein 180 C per 35-40 kliya bake ker lein. <br />Green Masala Sauce: <br />-Karhai mein oil,hara dhania aur hari mirchein dal ker ache tarhan mix karein. <br />-Dahi,garam masala powder,namak,zeera powder,kali mirch powder aur jaifil powder dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. <br />-2 minutes ya oil alag hunay tak paka lein aur musalsal chamcha chalatay rahien. <br />-Tamam cooked chicken tikka pieces dal dein aur green masala sauce mein mix & coat ker lein. <br />-2-3 minutes kliya koyla ka dhuwan lein & serve karein.
