<p>Firefighters assisted by aircraft battled fires</a> that were being helped by strong winds through the night of October 29 in the Campo dei Fiori Regional Park in Varese, northern Italy.</p><p>Local media</a>_ reported that 15 people were evacuated in the area due to the fire.</p><p>Firefighters are said to be focussing on preventing the flames from spreading to an astronomical observatory in the area and a pine forest to the west.
