<p>Atlee High School senior Sepp Shirley</a> scored a touchdown with the help of both his teammates and opponents in the dying moments of the Atlee Raiders’ 63-21 loss</a> to the Varina Blue Devils on Friday, October 27.</p><p>Shirley, who was born with cerebral palsy, was afforded the opportunity to score a touchdown when Raiders head coach Matt Gray</a> asked officials and the Blue Devils coaches to allow Shirley to take part in the game.</p><p>The original plan was to allow Shirley to run a couple of steps with the ball, but Shirley defied all odds and ran 80 yards surrounded by players from both teams, collapsing as he crossed the line.
