<p>A Virginia Tech football fan gave a young supporter attending Hokies’ 59-7 victory</a> over the University of North Carolina on Saturday, October 21, a game to remember when he gave him a Virginia Tech shirt.</p><p>Roanoake resident Brandon Jarrell</a> gave a shirt to a young fan after he promised him he wouldn’t come back to his seat empty-handed. In a video shared to Facebook, Jarrell tells the boy to “wear it to every game you go to – until you grow out.”</p><p>Speaking to local media</a>, Jarrell said that he wasn’t aware he was being filmed but hopes it inspires others to do good.</p><p>Radford resident Wallace Andrus shared a clip of the kind gesture to Facebook on October 21.
