The U.S. Marines are testing 3D-printed containers that can be packed with explosives and readied in only a few hours.<br /><br />The explosives can range in size, from hand grenades to land mines. Small, portable 3D printers are already used in combat zones, creating on-demand mini-factories that allow Marines to print parts as needed. <br /><br />Instead of lugging them around, the new explosive containers could one day enable soldiers to design and print explosives on the go.
