<p>Firefighters continued to fight two separate wildfires burning in northern Italy on October 31, the Italian national fire and rescue service said.</p><p>ANSA reported</a> that the fire burning in Piedmont had worsened in recent days, while Lombardy had asked for a national emergency to be declared for fires burning in Campo dei Fiori, a regional forest park.</p><p>Lombardy President Roberto Maroni said</a> authorities had found evidence that suggested the fire in his region may have been started intentionally.
