<p>Protests continued in Nairobi late on October 30 after the country’s electoral commission announced that Uhuru Kenyatta had won the controversial rerun of the country’s presidential election.</p><p>Kenyatta swept the election, which was marred by violence</a>, with 98 percent of the vote</a>, according to the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC).</p><p>The commission also reported that there had been a 38 percent voter turnout, which the opposition NASA disputed</a>.
