<br /> <p>Queensland Police announced on Wednesday, October 1, that they were launching a new initiative to resolve unsolved crimes committed in Logan by collaborating with Griffith University School of Criminology and Criminal Justice.</p><p>The police released four clips showing robberies in the area that took place across nine months in 2017, saying</a> they hoped to discover the “causal factors behind robberies taking place across the district.”</p><p>“Using their full range of capabilities the taskforce will assume investigative responsibility for all robberies after seven days from when the offence occurred,” Detective Inspector Tod Reid said.</p><p>“Detectives will focus on a proactive approach to preventative measures by working in partnership with stakeholders in combating robbery offences.” Credit: Queensland Police Service via Storyful</p><br />
