Police Make Arrest in Unsolved 1989 Bookie Murder

<p>Police arrested a 58-year-old Berkeley man, Terry Hickson, on the morning of November 2 in connection to the 1989 unsolved murder of greyhound trainer Charles Skarratt.</p><p>Hickson, also involved in the greyhound industry,</a> is accused of the stabbing murder of the British-born Skarratt on December 22, 1989</a>.</p><p>Skarratt was found dead in his garage, bound and suffering from multiple stab wounds. He had been robbed of $25,000 from his wallet.</p><p>Police attended Hickson’s home at about 7am and arrested him. He was charged with murder at the Oak Flats Police Station.
