Three people were killed in a shooting in Thornton, Colorado on Wednesday. <br /><br />The Thornton Police Department said on Twitter that two men were killed, while a woman was injured but later died in hospital.<br /><br />Police have released no information about the circumstances of the incident, but said nobody had been taken into custody in relation to the incident that occurred in a Walmart store.<br /><br />Police were called to the store at 6.30pm, but shooting ceased by the time they arrived at the scene.<br /><br />Thornton is a city with a population of 120,000 people and is situated 10 miles Northeast of Downtown Denver.<br />
