<br /> <p>Authorities in Lancaster County, Nebraska, were called to rescue two deer whose antlers became entangled while battling for control over nearby does on Sunday, October 29.</p><p>Officers from the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska Game and Parks found the deer desperately trying to escape each other’s grasp on a river bed north of Waverly, Nebraska, after they received a call from a local landowner.</p><p>Deputies from the Nebraska Games and Parks lassoed the pair and used a saw to cut the antlers apart.</p><p>Speaking to local media,</a> Lancaster County Sheriff’s Deputy Dennis Guthard said the rescue took around thirty minutes.
