A Twitter employee took advantage of their last day in the office to temporarily disable the account of Donald Trump.<br /><br />@readldonaldtrump was offline for 11 minutes around midnight CET and anyone trying to visit the profile page was met with an error message.<br /><br />“Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day. We are conducting a full internal review,” Twitter said in a statement, after initially putting the incident down to “human error.”<br /><br />Trump has more than 40 million followers on Twitter and it has become his principle means of communication by allowing him to bypass traditional press conferences and media briefings.<br />
