Shocking CCTV footage shows the moment a 4x4 driver smashes into a man before driving away. <br /><br />Andre Ursais, 22, had just parked his motorbike and sidecar outside his home in Quezon City, Philippines, when he stepped off into the road.<br /><br />Behind him a white Toyota Fortuner approached and knocked him over - driving away as Ursais lay on the ground clutching his head.<br /><br />Police have now launched a hunt to find the alleged hit-and-run driver after collecting surveillance camera footage of the incident on October 30.<br /><br />Father Duane, 45, said: ‘’My son is recovering but he’s still feeling a bit sore all over because of the impact and being thrown some distance.<br /><br />‘’The driver ran away and we’re trying to trace the owner of car but the whole of the number plate is not visible.<br /><br />‘’I can’t believe they hit my son then sped off like nothing had happened. <br /><br />‘’We're gathering all the CCTV footage to try to determine where the real culprit escaped to.<br /><br />''The Philippines National Police is also in the process of enhancing the CCTV footage of the accident to identify the plate of the Fortuner.’'<br /><br />The PNP force confirmed they were investigating the alleged hit-and-run. <br /><br />A spokesman said: ‘’PNP received reports of a suspect deliberately leaving the scene of a serious road traffic collision. District officers are gathering CCTV to trace the vehicle’s driver.’'
