Drone Footage Shows Extent of Flooding in Hoi An

<p>Vietnam’s Thu Bon River overflowed its banks after Typhoon Damrey pummeled the country and spilled floodwaters throughout the the streets of Hoi An, a popular tourist city and UNESCO World Heritage Site.</p><p>This drone footage shows an aerial view of the damage. Several stretches of land have transformed into ponds as a result of the flooding.</p><p>According to reports from local news source Thanh Nien Online</a>, water levels in Hoi An on November 6 were roughly 10.2 feet (3.12 meters).</p><p>Reuters reported that an estimated 60 people died due to Typhoon Damrey</a>, which hit Vietnam on November 4.
