According to The Hill, Senate Democrats are making moves to ban assault weapons and any devices that allow semi-automatic weapons to fire <br />like automatic weapons. Senator Dianne Feinstein said in meeting The previous 1994 ban on<br />assault weapons expired in 2004. This time around, the sale, production, and transfer of these weapons would be off the table. The proposed bill would require a background check on any trade or sale of these weapons that have been covered and approved by the legislation.
