<br /> <p>Six Tasmanian devils were introduced to their new home as a new animal sanctuary was launched at Gosford, New South Wales, on Thursday, November 9.</p><p>A crowd watched on as each animal was released into the sanctuary, with some racing straight for the undergrowth and others trotting about curiously, getting to know their new environment.</p><p>Their arrival coincided with the launch of Aussie Ark,</a> a sanctuary devised by Devil Ark that was crowdfunded in January 2017.</p><p>“Aussie Ark is an innovative conservation initiative committed to delivering results for some of Australia’s most imperilled mammals including the Tasmanian devil,” Devil Ark said in a statement.
