Footage has emerged of Barack Obama showing up at a downtown Chicago courthouse for jury duty.<br /><br />The video, filmed on November 8, shows the US former president shaking hands with people at the Daley Center.<br /><br />According to reports, he was dismissed by the judge without being called on to serve.<br /><br />''I was called in for jury duty and Barack Obama was called as well,'' the filmer later wrote online.<br /><br />''He took the time to greet and sign some books with me and other potential jurors,'' she added.
