Chicken-1 1/2 kg\r<br>Kaima Rice/\r<br>Jeerakasala Rice -4cups(800gm)\r<br>Onion-5\r<br>Onion-4small (Bista)\r<br>Tomato-1big\r<br>Green Chilli-16\r<br>Ginger-1 medium piece\r<br>Garlic-10 cloves \r<br>Salt\r<br>Biriyani Masala-1 tsp\r<br>Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp\r<br>Lemon Juice-1tsp\r<br>Mint leaves-handful\r<br>Coriander Leaves-handful\r<br>Cashew nuts-10\r<br>Raisins – 15\r<br>Ghee-for frying\r<br>Turmeric-1/4tsp\r<br>Milk-1/4cup\r<br>Water-\r<br>Cinnamon-1\r<br>Cloves-4\r<br>Cardamom-4\r<br>\r<br>\r<br>Biriyani Masala\r<br>\r<br>Fennel seeds-2tbsp\r<br>sha jeera-1/4tsp\r<br>Cardamom-12\r<br>Cloves-1tsp\r<br>Cinnamon-23pieces\r<br>Mace-1/4of 1\r<br>Pepper -10\r<br>\r<br> For Marination\r<br>\r<br>Tuermeric powder-1/4tsp\r<br>Chilli powder-1/2tsp\r<br>Salt-\r<br>Lemon Juice-1tsp\r<br>\r<br>\r<br>Method\r<br>Marinate Chicken with turmeric powder,salt,lemon juice and chilli powder for minimum 20 minutes .\r<br>Roast and powder biriyani masala d keep aside ..\r<br>Finely slice onion and Deep fry them and keep them in the strainer ..\r<br>Wash and soak rice for 20 minutes and then drian and keep aside \r<br>Heat oil in a kadai ..\r<br>Add sliced onion along with salt and saute till transparent ..\r<br>Then add crushed ginger-garlic-chilli and saute till light brown colour ..\r<br>Then add mint-coriander leaves and turmeric ..Saute for few seconds \r<br>Now add tomato pieces stir and close ,cook well..\r<br>When done open the cooker and marinated chicken pieces ..mix well\r<br>Close and cook for till done in medium flame ..\r<br>When chicken is 3/4th done add fried onion and again cook .\r<br>Then add 1tsp of biriyani masala to the chicken and mix..\r<br>Then add lemon juice .\r<br>Check the salt and adjust if needed ..\r<br>Then keep aside ..\r<br>Boil water and add spices along with salt ..\r<br>Then add ghee and mix..\r<br>When started boiling ,add rice and allow to boil..\r<br>Then close the kadai and lower the flame .. \r<br>stir in between ..\r<br>When the water has completely absorbed off the stove keep the rice undisturbed for 20 minutes ..\r<br>After 20 minutes the rice will be perfect ..\r<br>Now we need to dum the biriyani..\r<br>In a big nonstick kadai add some ghee then add the chicken masala in the bottom ..\r<br>on top of that sprinkle cashew-kissmiss,leaves ,fried onion and biriyani masala ..\r<br>Then layer the rice ..\r<br>In each layer sprinkle everything shown in the video ..\r<br>Finally close the kadai with a foilpaper ..then close with the lid \r<br>Then heat a tawa and place this kadai on the tawa and dum .. \r<br>So after 30 -35 minutes tasty yummy Thalasseri Dum chicken biriyani is ready to serve
