<p>Soldiers from the New Zealand Army helped rescued an orca stranded on a beach near Blenheim on Monday, November 13.</p><p>The juvenile whale was spotted on Marfells Beach on Sunday. Soldiers, along with rescuers from charity Project jonah and the Department of Conservation, staged a successful attempt to refloat the cetacean at high tide on Monday.
